Fjords (Norway)
May 22, 2026 – May 26, 2026Toran Travels invites you on an unforgettable adventure to majestic Norway.
To ensure the experience is entirely focused on flying in Norway itself, we’ll depart as a group from Brussels Airport bound for Oslo. Upon arrival, we’ll head to Kjeller Airport, where our R44s have already been transported by our crew. This saves us valuable time and allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the rugged, impressive Norwegian landscape from day one.
From Kjeller, we set off on an exclusive tour of Norway, straight into the heart of the fjords. No long transit days across Europe—just pure flying over majestic mountains, deep fjords, and endless Scandinavian wilderness. Trust us, this is the best Europe has to offer.
During this multi-day expedition, we’ll discover Norway both from the air and on the ground. We’ll make safe stopovers at carefully selected locations, explore charming towns, sample Scandinavian cuisine, and spend the night in places where comfort and authenticity come together.
Every flight is a unique combination of adventure and precision. Flying in Norway requires insight, planning, and finesse—an ideal opportunity to further refine your skills as a pilot, supported by our experienced instructors and safety pilots.
Whether you take the controls yourself or fly along as a passenger: this journey is all about freedom, nature, and the exceptional perspective that only a helicopter can offer.
Norway, pure. More intense. Closer than ever.
Pricing Structure
Our Norway expedition consists of two separate parts:
1. Travel & Organization
This part covers the entire trip organization. The cost amounts to:
€6,900 per person (Pilot-In-Command)
If you bring a passenger who shares the same hotel room, he/she receives a 25% discount, which amounts to: €5,175 per person (+One)
These prices include the following:
- Preparation
- Flights from Brussels Airport to Oslo (round-trip)
- Hotel accommodations
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Beverages (normal consumption)
- Additional fuel costs during the expedition
- Landing fees
- Aircraft liability and comprehensive insurance. All passengers and pilots are also covered under this policy.
- Organization & logistical support (including Toranbus for luggage and local transportation)
2. Flight time
The actual flight time is billed via Travel Credits at €690 per hour (instead of the standard rate of €730 per hour).
A total flight time of 12 to 14 hours is anticipated during the tour.
An average of 6 to 7 hours of flight time is calculated per Pilot-In-Command.
We operate with a maximum of three people per helicopter:
- Two pilots sharing the aircraft
- One safety pilot
When two pilots share one helicopter, the total flight time is divided between them, so that each pilot accounts for approximately half of the total flight time.
If a participant is traveling with a +One, the allocated 6 to 7 hours can be fully transferred to the Pilot-In-Command. You cannot register as a +One without being paired with a Pilot-In-Command.
This rate includes:
- Use of the R44
- An experienced instructor or safety pilot on board
- Operational support during the trip
If desired, flights can be conducted without a safety pilot. However, this does not affect the pricing and must always be coordinated with Toran’s Head of Training. If approved, a minimum of 1 hour of preparatory training will be provided, no later than 2 days before departure, during which emergency procedures and specific Norwegian operational considerations will be thoroughly practiced. This ensures that every participant begins this adventure fully prepared and safely. By explicitly choosing a flight without an instructor or safety pilot, the customer, as PIC, confirms that they bear full ultimate responsibility for the safe execution of the flight and all possible risks arising therefrom.
* All prices are exclusive of VAT. For this type of arrangement, 2.73% VAT is charged.
* Registration is only confirmed after payment of at least 50% of the total cost. The balance must be paid no later than 1 week before the start of the trip. Cancellation is no longer possible starting one month before departure, and the 50% advance payment already made will not be refunded. Registration closes one month before the trip’s start date.
* If the trip to Norway cannot proceed due to adverse weather conditions, the organization will provide an alternative destination or an equivalent modified itinerary. This will be discussed with all participants one week in advance, and the decision will be communicated to all travelers no later than 24 hours in advance. In the event of trip cancellation, the amount paid is non-refundable.
