Toran Travels

Day 1

We start early in the morning and cross France efficiently. In the afternoon we arrive at Guimbal Helicopters, the manufacturer of the Cabri helicopters. During this exclusive factory visit, we are given a tour through the production by the owner, Bruno Guimbal, as well as an exceptional presentation about the new Cabri G5, the next generation of the well-known Cabri family. A rare opportunity to hear directly from the engineers and the owner how this new aircraft was developed.

Day 2

We continue flying towards the Mediterranean to Marignane, the iconic home base of Airbus Helicopters. There we are welcomed for an extensive tour through the entire production site of one of the most renowned turbine helicopters in the world: the Écureuil/Squirrel (H125 and H130). A unique experience in which we witness up close how the world's most advanced helicopters come into being.

After the factory visit, we fly along the spectacular Côte d'Azur, with highlights such as Saint-Tropez, Nice and Monaco. We spend the night near Grenoble.

Day 3

We return to Belgium via one of the most beautiful routes a helicopter pilot can fly: the impressive mountain landscape of the French Alps. A challenging and breathtaking navigation flight in which, under the guidance of our instructors, you can further refine your navigation and mountain flying skills.

Pricing structure:

Our factory expedition consists of two separate components:

1. Travel & organisation
This part covers the entire travel organisation.
EUR 1,725 (excl. VAT) per person (Pilot-in-Command)
If you bring a passenger who stays in the same hotel room, they receive a 25% discount, which amounts to:
EUR 1,300 (excl. VAT) per person (+One)

This price includes the following:

• Preparation
• Factory visits
  Hotel stays
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner over 3 days
• Drinks (normal consumption)
• Additional fuel costs during the expedition for the Toran aircraft
• Landing fees for the Toran aircraft
• Third-party liability and comprehensive insurance of the Toran aircraft (including cover for pilots and passengers)
• Organisation and logistical support

2. Flight time

The actual flight time is settled via Travel Credits at EUR 690 (excl. VAT) per hour (instead of the standard rate of EUR 730 (excl. VAT) per hour).
An average of 4 to 5 hours of flight time is provided per Pilot-in-Command.
When three pilots share one helicopter, the total flight time is divided among them, so that each pilot flies approximately one third of the allocated flight time. Toran makes the final decision on the allocation and ensures a fair distribution.
If a participant travels with a +One, Toran assumes that the allocated 4 to 5 hours are taken up entirely by the Pilot-in-Command if the +One is not a (student) pilot.
Registering as a +One without being linked to a Pilot-in-Command is not possible.

This rate includes:

• Use of the R44
• An experienced instructor or safety pilot on board
• Operational support during the trip

If desired, aircraft owners can travel along themselves, with or without a safety pilot.
When choosing to fly without a safety pilot, the PIC confirms that they bear full ultimate responsibility for the safe execution of the flight and all associated risks.

Important conditions

• All prices are excl. VAT. For this type of organisation, 2.73% VAT is charged.
• The registration is only confirmed after signing the order form and paying at least 50% of the travel sum.
• The balance must be paid no later than 1 week before the start of the trip.
• From 1 month before departure, cancellation is no longer possible and the paid deposit invoice (50%) is not refunded.
• Registrations close no later than 2 weeks before the start date of the trip, or earlier if fully booked.
• We fly with a fleet of a maximum of 7 aircraft, of which at least 5 are Toran aircraft.
