Giving a helicopter flight as a gift: which flight should you choose?

There are two ways to give a helicopter flight as a gift at Toran. You can choose a gift certificate for an amount of your choice starting at €50, after which the recipient chooses their own flight. Or you can give a specific flight right away: a helicopter tour along a set route, flying yourself with an instructor, or a custom dream flight. A gift certificate is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Which flight is right for whom?

• For those who want to fly themselves: with the “Fly Yourself” gift certificate, the recipient takes the controls alongside a professional instructor. Thanks to the dual controls, everyone remains in safe hands. The flight lasts 30 or 60 minutes. For the 60-minute flight, we combine a 30-minute introductory session with 30 minutes of sightseeing.
• For those who want to enjoy the experience together: a helicopter tour along a set route. Each flight can accommodate up to 3 passengers, and the price is per flight, not per person.
• For those who want to choose their own route: a customized dream flight, domestically or abroad.
• If you’re unsure: choose a gift amount of your choice starting at €50. The recipient can then choose which flight to book.

Which helicopter tours can you give as a gift?

All sky tours are also available as gift certificates at the same prices. You can choose from six set routes:

• Castles Tour: over Alden Biesen, Ooidonk, and Freÿr.
• Battlefield Tour: over the battlefields of Ypres and Diksmuide, past Tyne Cot, Essex Farm, the Menin Gate, and the Lakenhalle.
• Ghent Tour: over Ghent, with its historic beauty and lively neighborhoods.
• Bruges + East Coast Tour: over Knokke, Zeebrugge, Bruges, and Damme.
• West Coast Tour: along the Belgian coastline, featuring beaches and harbors.
• Flemish Ardennes tour: over Ronse, Oudenaarde, Geraardsbergen, and Tournai.

Digital or physical gift certificate?

When ordering, you can choose between a digital gift certificate via email and a physical gift certificate by mail (€10 extra, shipping included). You can add the recipient’s first name and a personal message.

• Digital to yourself: You’ll receive an email with the gift certificate as a PDF. You can print it out and give it to the recipient yourself.
• Digitally to the recipient: The recipient will immediately receive an email with a link to the gift certificate, plus the PDF for printing.
• By mail: Order at least 4 days in advance. After placing your order, you’ll also immediately receive a digital version via email, so the gift card is always ready on time.

Each gift certificate features a QR code. This leads to a dedicated page with the code the recipient can use to book a flight on the online store.

How long is a gift certificate valid?

A gift certificate is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. During that period, the recipient can use it for the full range of flights available in the online store.

What does the recipient need to know?

• Book the flight at least 2 weeks in advance. Want to fly sooner? Contact us, and we’ll work with you to see what’s possible.
• If weather conditions do not permit safe flying, we’ll reschedule the flight to another date in consultation with you, or convert it into a credit voucher.
• A maximum of 3 passengers may fly per flight.
